The building consists of 182 apartments, 110 studios and 72 one bedroom apartments. Built in 1961 and renovated in 2000, it is totally self contained with its own 24-hour reception area. The residence is the highest building in Alvik and commands superb views over Kungsholmen and southern Stockholm. Its position at Tranebergs Plan means that it is a stone's throw from all of Alvik's major amenities including hair salon, Konsum supermarket, newsagents, dry cleaners, and chemist. More shops can be found opposite the underground station in Alviks Torg, a smaller self-contained shopping precinct which includes a McDonalds restaurant, Post Office and large ICA supermarket.
