With a large terrace overlooking the Sogn fjord, the hotel comprises of a main building, the largest and most impressive wooden structure in Norway. This is one of the most beautiful examples of the Swiss architectural style as known by the Norwegians. In 1965, a modern wing was built which communicates with the main building through a lobby. Extended in 1973 and featuring 165 rooms at present. 2008 saw the opening of the new building for conferences and meetings, thus completing the hotel services. 190 rooms, 8 floors. |
